After another epic day of riding, Buddy & Bob finally made it to Laramie, WY @ 1900hr MT. A 200+ mile run from Rock Springs, WY - east on I-80 and what portions of the Lincoln Highway they could identify - before calling in on arrival and reporting what Ground Control anticipated. They were tired, wanted dinner and a well-deserved drink, and would send their wrap-up in the morning instead of the usual middle-of-the-night e-mail.
Get some rest, guys. We’re all proud of you.

Gentlemen,
I am watching your progress with great interest and envy. Your pictures and commentary are great. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. I’m really interested to see how the MP3B hold up over the course of the trip. Take care an be safe! Dan Fisher
Eventhough I am excited to keep seeing what is next on this trip please keep safety first. Perhaps a “rest day” wiht no miles but a walking tour of a town along route. Just a thought from a concerned fellow long haul rider.
Hi Bob, Sometime before reaching Laramie, did you happen to visit or pass by a monument called “Tree growing out of a Rock?”. I remember seeing this roadside event when I was about 11 years old on my way to visit friends in Laramie. It was a rest stop for the weary people to stretch their legs.
Drive safely and enjoy the journey.
John
This is an awesome trip. Enjoy every minute and don’t rush home to NYC. I can’t believe you guys are pulling this off (from a biased fan as Uncle Buddy is my motorcycle mentor).
