As of 1500hr ET, Piaggio Ground Control has made public the Piaggio MP3 Lincoln HIghway Google Earth RideMap (.98b), comprising data, routing and images collected from Buddy & Bob from Day 1 through midnight of last night - a total of two weeks progress deeply embedded in a KML cross-linked back to the Road Reports posted daily here.
If you like the Google DayMaps posted here daily, if you want to see in even greater detail Buddy & Bob’s Herculean efforts to navigate their MP3’s down the ever-elusive Lincoln Highway, then you’re going to love our Google Earth RideMaps. You will have to download Google Earth - don’t worry, it’s free - and we will be posting easy directions as the countdown proceeds this afternoon.

2) No Age Limit: The Piaggio MP3 Lincoln Highway Ride 2008 Photo Map
The Progress Map - updated several times per day - displays routing, lunch & gas stops, and Buddy & Bob’s location through a combination of road reports and GPS data from the TomTom unit mounted on their Piaggio MP3s.
The Photo Map - updated once per day - displays the precise location at which Buddy & Bob have taken so many amazing pictures, also viewable in the Gallery section.

Our riders are en route from Laramie, WY to to Fort Collins, CO, after a well-deserved rest. More to follow from the amazing pictures and stories they’ve just sent in to Piaggio Ground Control…
Details are scarce, but it appears Buddy & Bob left San Francisco’s Lincoln Park around 1230hr Pacific. According to Seero’s Live WebCast from the chase car, the mixed parade of Piaggios & Vespas is Eastbound on Jefferson street and about to turn right onto The Embarcadero. More to follow.
The flag drops @ 1200hr Pacific! Everyone @ Piaggio Ground Control is scrambling to catch the Seero.com Live Webcast. David Johnson will pilot a chase car and follow Buddy & Bob all the way to Sacramento, Seero accompanying him in-car to broadcast the parade through San Francisco to the Bay Bridge, and as much of Day 1 as wireless connectivity permits.
